ABOUT THE AUTHOR Triss Stein grew up in a small city in rural upstate New York, but schooling turned her into a city girl. She majored in history at the Boston-area Brandeis University, went to New York for an MS in library science at Columbia, then never left. Triss was a children's librarian with the Brooklyn Public Library, and was employed in business libraries for many years. Her third and favorite career is mystery writing. She's been from one extreme to another - working for "Type A" MBA's at an international consulting firm and then working for pleasant, eccentric, creative types at a comic book publisher. She's published two mysteries with Walker, "Murder at the Class Reunion" and "Digging Up Death." Now she's working on a new series set in Brooklyn, blending her favorite subjects of historical research and Brooklyn's diverse and fascinating neighborhoods. Triss loves traveling and cooking, and is a long time member of both Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. |
