ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Terrie Farley Moran was born in the Bronx - which is the only one of the five boroughs of the City of New York that is actually on the mainland of the United States. As a young woman she moved to the borough of Queens, where she spent nearly a decade as a community activist, with a strong focus on resolving neighborhood issues locally. Her civic philosophy continued when she took a job as an aid to a local member of the New York City Council. Terrie was District Manager of a Community Board as well as serving on the staff of four elected officials. At the time she retired from city service, Terrie held the position of Director of Capital Budget for the Borough President of Queens.

Terrie is and active member of the NY/TriState chapter of the Sisters in Crime and also participates in the activities of the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of America.
