A Georgia native, Sylvia Nickels lives in Tennessee with her husband and a Chihuahua named Rosebud. Retired from the local telephone company, she is a local chapter officer of ITPA, national telephony retiree organization. Sylvia’s story, The Taste of Sweet Revenge, won Honorable Mention in the 2005 Cape Fear Crime Festival contest and was published in the Festival booklet. Her fantasy and mystery stories appeared in Communities and FMAM print magazines and such ezines as Bewildering Stories, Orchard Press Mysteries, Judas, and Writers Ezine.
