ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Randy Kandel, Ph.D., J.D., is an anthropologist, a practicing attorney, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and an administrative law judge. Although a newcomer to mystery writing, she has a book in print on family law, and her story "Shoreline" won first place in an on-line competition. She is president-elect of Sisters in Crime New York/Tri State Chapter.
