Phillip Jones is a former medical school instructor and patent attorney. Now, he works as a freelance writer. His articles have appeared in The World Almanac and Book of Facts, History Magazine, Forensic Magazine, The Strand Magazine, Encyclopedia of Forensic Science, The Science of Michael Crichton, Nature Biotechnology, Information Systems for Biotechnology News Report, Law and Order Magazine, PharmaTechnology Magazine, Daily Dose of Knowledge, education booklets, and other publications. His writings in forensic science earned him associate membership with the Mystery Writers of America, and for more than five years, he has taught the online course, Forensic Science for Writers. Phill has written science books for the education market, including Sickle Cell Disease (2008) and The Genetic Code (2010).
