Joyce started life in Northern New Jersey, spent her formative years there, and then moved to Eastern Pennsylvania as a young mother. Unable to get enough of the type of women’s fiction she liked, she started writing her own back in the dark ages using an electric typewriter on a small typing table tucked in a corner of her room. For the past several  years she’s made her home in sunny Southwest Florida where she has a dedicated office with desk and computer. When she’s not taxing her brain with plot, structure, and grammar, she likes to sew, particularly quilts. When she really wants to give her brain a rest, she watches TV.
