J.C. Towler writes suspense, horror, science fiction, and police-drama novels and short stories. He is delighted to write about other people plotting to kill each other or going into scary places and being devoured; he's not so keen on those adventures himself. His early works have appeared mostly in e-zines; his short story Scales is featured in Permuted Press' 2009 "Giant Creatures" anthology and his crime story Lottery Winner will be appearing in L&L Dreamspell’s “Your Darkest Dreamspell” anthology in 2009. He dwells on the Outer Banks of North Carolina which is rather odd because he's afraid of swimming in the ocean and doesn't eat fish.
