With a background in history and computers, Helen Henderson's fiction crosses genres inviting readers to fly among the stars or ride the Old West. In honor of her coal-country mountain heritage, she writes westerns under the persona of her ancestor, Jessie Treon.
 
Helen has written two local history books. As a feature story writer and correspondent, her byline includes numerous articles on topics as varied as military history, bicycling the Mid-Atlantic region, air shows, and antiques and collectibles.
