ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised in the south, award winning, internationally published author and poet Christy Tillery French loves to write about quirky southern women. Christy's books encompass the following genres - romantic comedy, psychological thriller, romantic suspense, and a humorous mystery series.

French's books have been chosen by numerous book clubs across the country as their Book of the Month selection. Her award winning poetry has been published in both America and England. She's been recognized in many "Who's Who" books including U.S Writers, Editors and Poets - Who's Who in America - Who's Who of American Women - Who's Who in Finance and Business - and Manchester Who's Who.

Christy serves on the Board of the Southeast Mystery Writers of America (SEMWA) Skill Build Committee, representing east Tennessee. In August 2005 she organized and hosted a skill build in Knoxville, Tennessee, sponsored by SEMWA. Previously she was a book reviewer for the Knoxville News-Sentinel, and currently she reviews books for Midwest Book Review.

Christy French is a member of Romance Writers of America, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, the Guppies, and Tennessee Mountain Writers.

Christy lives on a mini-farm in Tennessee - she's an avid gardener, loves boating, camping, and animals. She is a volunteer with Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue and donates proceeds from books sales to this group as well as the local animal shelter.
