Award-winning, internationally published author and poet Christy Tillery French loves to write about quirky Southern women. Her books to date include Chasing Horses, Wayne’s Dead, Chasing Demons, The Bodyguard series: The Bodyguard, The Bodyguard and the Show Dog, The Bodyguard and the Rock Star, The Bodyguard and the Snitch, and Chasing Secrets.

Christy’s books have been chosen by numerous book clubs across the country as their Book of the Month selection and have been placed with the McClung Historical Collection of the East Tennessee Historical Center as part of the local and genealogical history of East Tennessee.

Her poetry has been published in America and England. She’s been recognized in many Who’s Who books including Who’s Who in U.S. Writers, Editors and Poets, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Manchester Who’s Who, and Princeton’s Who’s Who.

Christy served on the Board of the Southeast Mystery Writers of American (SEMWA) Skill Build Committee, representing East Tennessee. In August, 2005 she organized and hosted a skill build in Knoxville, TN sponsored by SEMWA. She presently serves on the Board of Directors of Tennessee Mountain Writers. She is a book reviewer for Midwest Book Review.

Christy is a member of Romance Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, the Guppies, High Country Writers, Tennessee Writers Alliance and Tennessee Mountain Writers.

Christy is a small business owner and loves gardening, boating and animals. She is a volunteer with Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue. Proceeds from sales of her books are donated to WCWR and local rescue groups.
