Aside from being an author, Christopher J. Ferguson is an associate professor of forensic psychology, an occupation which helps inform his writing. He has worked with a wide range of offender populations, from murderers to sex offenders to child abusers. His works include several published short stories in magazines such as Orion's Child, Nefarious, Midnight Horror, Blazing! Adventures, Stories That Lift and Fantasy Gazetteerand he is a contributor to Time.com. He has also published a non-fiction book “Violent Crime: Clinical and Social Implications”. He lives in Laredo, Texas with his wife and young son.
