With many published “how to” articles in magazines, Arliss Adams was drawn to the allure of suspense and romance. During the past fourteen years she took on the challenge of an entirely new medium—fiction. Writing as Morgan St. James, she and her sister, a fellow writer, gave birth to an award-winning, delightfully funny, crime caper series, the Silver Sisters—an unbeatable sleuthing team.
But from the time she decided to write fiction, the passion to write a more serious work was compelling. Fourteen years in development, Devil’s Dance (Book 1) and The Devil’s Due (Book 2) became the suspenseful tale she first envisioned.
Along with working on novels, Adams is the author of numerous short stories published in anthologies, was a founding member of a chapter of Sisters in Crime, is active in many writers groups, and continues to develop workshops for writers.
Adams and her husband divide their time between Las ­Vegas and Southern California. They have three married children and three grandchildren.
